Welcome
Who am I?

I'm Joe, a web developer focused on building practical, problem-solving tools with ColdFusion and JavaScript.

I started my career in IT support, where I learned firsthand how systems break, how people use software, and how they work around its flaws. That experience pushed me toward creating better solutions. I began writing my own utilities in Visual Basic, Python, and even PowerShell; small tools that connected to APIs and automated the work I didn’t want to repeat.

That curiosity naturally carried over into my professional development work. I found myself building systems for the people around me, improving workflows, and filling the gaps where software fell short. Every time I sit down with my laptop, I fall into a familiar mindset: “What if…?” and “Can I make this happen with code?”

Coding, for me, is equal parts problem-solving and possibility.

What do I build?

I focus on practical, problem-solving tools:

  • Internal workflow systems and utilities
  • Small interactive web apps using JavaScript
  • Backend services and API integrations in ColdFusion

While I enjoy creating software that removes friction and makes everyday work easier, I also like branching out to game development.

What is this site?

This site is my personal development space; a place where I build, test, and showcase the tools I’m working on. You’ll find small projects, JavaScript demos, ColdFusion utilities, and whatever ideas I’m experimenting with at the moment. It’s equal parts portfolio, sandbox, and ongoing record of the things I’m learning.
